In celebration of the grand opening of its first local shop, 7 Brew, a nationwide coffee chain, donated more than $10,000 to a local hospital.
The new drive-through, at 10359 Fremont Pike in Perrysburg Township, held a ribbon cutting grand opening on July 1. To mark the occasion, the chain donated $10,154.98 to Nationwide Children’s Hospital-Toledo.
The store hosted a donation weekend from June 20 through June 22, where customers could try 7 Brew and “pay what they want,” as a donation to the hospital.
“Their continued generosity reinforces our shared commitment to helping local children achieve best outcomes. We are grateful for their ongoing partnership and thank all of the customers that contributed to this cause,” said Kate Keller, associate director of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
“We are so excited to be opening in Perrysburg as we continue expanding in Ohio,” said Maddie Turner, regional manager for Brew Team Ohio.
There are plans to open another 7 Brew in the 2600 block of Navarre Avenue in Oregon.
