Troy Rubey brings more than three decades of sales, management, business ownership, and commercial property experience to commercial real estate. He began his automotive career in 1988, advancing through sales, finance, and management before obtaining his dealer license and establishing Rubey’s Auto Sales in 1997. In 2010, he expanded with Boondox Motorsports, which he continues to operate at the wholesale level. His years as a business owner have provided extensive experience in sales, financing, negotiation, management, and understanding the needs of business owners.

Troy’s commercial real estate experience began as a property owner in Caledonia, where he has acquired, developed, managed, and sold commercial properties. He has worked directly with local municipalities on permitting, approvals, signage, property splits and combinations, and development. Today, he continues to own and manage commercial assets through Cherry Valley Properties. Drawing on this experience, Troy joined Signature Associates to focus on commercial and industrial real estate throughout the West Michigan corridor. His perspective as a business owner, landlord, buyer, seller, and property owner allows him to understand both the real estate and the business behind it.

Troy believes successful sales are built on listening, solving problems, earning trust, and developing long-term relationships. A West Michigan resident since 1991, he has supported local schools, Chamber of Commerce activities, and fundraising benefiting police, fire, and military causes. His business has also been recognized by the Caledonia Chamber of Commerce as a Business of the Year. Outside of work, Troy enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, family and friends, as well as motorcycles, hunting, the outdoors, sports, and concerts.
