Michigan golfers have put away their clubs for the winter, but if you’re ready to immerse yourself in the business, there are numerous golf courses for sale across the state.

Nearly a dozen courses are for sale this winter, from the Upper Peninsula to the state line at the southern border. Courses can be had for less than $1 million while others are priced at more than $3.5 million.

Some include hotels, banquet facilities and other amenities for prospective buyers. While some are likely to remain fairways and greens, others could turn into homes or commercial properties, according to listings by real estate companies marketing them.
