Options open for new restaurant, more in lease property available on Telegraph in Brownstown
With more than 15,000 cars traveling the area of Telegraph Road near King Road in Brownstown Township daily, the area is considered to be a busy corridor — perfect for a business developer and tenants.
A construction project that could house several different businesses, including a drive-thru fast food establishment, now occupies a spot at 21629 Telegraph Road.
Signature Associates, based in Southfield, are the brokers for the project, which is just about complete.
Since dividing walls have not yet gone inside the building, Justin Gaffrey, a senior associate in the retail division, said the options are open on what will occupy the spot.
There is up to 8,000 square feet of space for operation, which can be broken into smaller units if necessary.
Of all the potential businesses, Gaffrey said the fast food industry is probably the most attractive, especially at this time when restaurants with drive-thru service are operating fairly well during this COVID-19 period.
“It’s the most popular and I think that trend will continue moving forward,” he said.
Gaffrey said there has been a good deal of interest in the location, primarily from the fast food industry and those in the medical field.
Those in the medical field include tenants for such operations as physical therapy, dental services and chiropractors.
Once a decision is made on what companies will be setting up shop, he said, it will likely take about three months for the business to open its doors.
He anticipates the doors to the strip of property to open sometime in the mid-summer.
